Joseph,

When you look at the files and folders, there is a column 
labled 'creator'.  Only the creator can modify or edit the file or 
folder.  Those of us who created our own folder and uploaded our own 
files are able to make those changes.  If instead the person mailed 
their file to you {Joseph} and you {Joseph} created the folder and 
uploaded the files, then they cannot make the changes.  You {Joseph} 
as the moderator can modify any folder or file regardless of the 
creator.  The rest of us can't...

Ugh...Does that make sense...
