I Hope all of you are doing well. I need members assistance with my MEDINA line.
I have reached a dead-end on any further back that JUAN JOSE MEDINA and YSIDRA LUNA. Both born around 1800 and the last family was known to be in Juchipila, Zac.
Their son was MARCELINO MEDINA married to FRANCISCA GARCIA. Anyone who share that line or have run across them please let me know by posting what ever info you have.
It would be deeply appreciated

There aren't very many records to review for Juchipila which seemed disheartening at first. But, if Ysidra and Juan Jose M were born around 1800, and they lived into their 50's or even into their 70's --well , you have death records. And there is a death record for Ysidra Luna: parents named, place of origin named, left Juan Medina a widower, 2nd marriage. Juan Medina is still living so look for his record in the Catholic Church register and in the Civil Registration records.
Good Luck on your search, Gloria

Yolanda, not all records are indexed. You have to go to rolls and sometimes go page by page. I did send you the link in the first message. You should be able to click on it and it will take you to the page. If you can't use the link then go to familysearch Mexico, Zacatecas Church records/find Juchipilas/and go to Defunciones. The digital image # is on my first post. You'll need to search page by page for Juan Medina. I searched once and didn't find him but I may have missed him. Also, I'm sorry to say there are some years missing.

Lately I have had a lot of luck with Juchipila's pre 1800 records by
viewing all death records post 1800 for Juchipila, Apozol and Moyahua, as
well as looking through the dispensas for weddings through the Sagrada
Mitra for Amoxochitl, Juchipila, Moyahua and Apozol pre and post 1800!
