Hello Memebers, I have a hard time reading a marriage record -San Juan de Los Lagos -1722-1770 Image # 297-298. The Marriage record belongs to Lorenzo Alvarez Tostado married to Francisca Rita Munoz de Nava (daughter of Jose Munoz de Nava and Micaela Gomez de Mendoza) Jan. 15.1748. The Father of Lorenzo Alvarez Tostado states Diego Alvarez Tostado, but the mother I think says Rita Maria Moran Fernandez de Rueda. Any guesses ?

Her name appears as Rosa Maria Moran Hernandez de Rueda. Hernandez de Rueda
and Fernandez de Rueda are the same surname.

I read it as Rosa Maria Moran hernandes de Rueda

I reviewed this record last month and recorded the following notes for this couple:

José Lorenzo Álvarez Tostado: español, originario y vecino de la feligresía de San Pedro Teocaltiche

Rita Muñoz de Hermosillo: española, originaria y vecina de esta feligresía [Jalostotitlan] en el Papalote

velados 15 enero 1748, fueron padrinos don Juan Francisco Alvarez Tostado y doña Maria Rita Galarza
