Santa Fé was a rancho in colonial Xérez and subsequently renamed to Ignacio Allende de Santa Fé. A major cristero battle took place here during the Cristero war.
Laura,
Looks like Santana Rodriguez to me. Says he was born in Santa Fe, not sure if that's the rancho.

Hi,
I'm trying to decipher the child's maternal grandfather's
name. Something Rodriguez. Also the rancho.
I'm wondering if anyone in the group has any information on my 9th Great Grandparents don Esteban de Aguiar y Quiroga and his wife Doña Maria de la Vega y Rivas aka Maria Guadalupe de Rivas. I'm trying to locate their parents. They would be from Ayo El Chico, Atotonilco de Alto or San Juan de los Lagos. They would've been born around 1690-1700. The mother of one of them is a Doña Ana Sanchez de Medina according to the baptism of this child that says the madrina is the abuela of the infant: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-19623-30913-24?cc=1874591&wc…
But, I'm not sure which parent she's the mother of. If anyone has any information on this family that would be greatly appreciated.
