The Sacramental Record that I have supports your statement. By the way same
document reads that Alonzo's father was "Diego Alonzo de los Ynofos". Is
this interchangeable with "Hinojos"? The record also includes the
information that the "Padrinos" were "Santiago Alonzo y Maria Thereza de
Alonso". Were they related to one another, and/or to "Ysidro Alonzo"?

Joseph Andres ALONZO = Maria
Okay this is good! Well the REAL original name is ALONSO DE LOS HINOJOS,
youll see ALONZO DE LOS HINOXOS, INOJOS, ENOJOS, just dont pay
attention to those know its HINOJOS, but when searching dont limit your search
with HINOJOS, try the other "mistakes" and youll be suprised. They come
from a village in I think Extremadura, Spain called Los Hinojos. SO who ever
was the first patriarch back in the 1400s or so was an Alonso DE Los Hinojos.
Alonso is also a first name his children would have taken the last name
Alonso de los Hinojos until the 1600s where we show up with Pedro
Alonso de los Hinojos, its called Patronimics son takes fathers name so on.

Joseph Andres ALONZO = Maria
Oh Maria Teresa was Isidro's sister she was baptized 11 Nov 1736
not sure about Santiago, could be a sibling or even her spouse.
There were dozens and dozens of Alonso de los Hinojos marrying their
close cousins Alonso de los HInojs, just like your case with Jose Andres
and Rafaela whose mother was also a ALonso.

There should be some pretty cool información matrimonial to show how the
couples are related.
