how do you send a gedcom in? i use a PAF program is that an acceptable format? i also have many names i am researching what is the best way to include those?
once a gedcom area is set up for you (upon request) you can upload a
gedcom but we cannot upload .paf files (the program PAF can however
create a gedcom for you to upload).

If you want to upload your GEDCOM to Nuestros Ranchos, go to the GEDCOM section of the site. You will get an email the first time you go there with instructions on how to request a tree in the database to which you can upload your GEDCOM. Basically, you will simply need to send in your username and request to moderator [at] nuestrosranchos [dot] com but you can only do that after you have gone onto that section of the site and gotten the welcome email.
You will then have a blank tree to which you can upload a GEDCOM.
I believe this question has been asked, however, I have not yet seen a response. My tree also has an "Anglo" side, would that be proper to upload in this forum?

Dear Dennis:
I also have an anglo side on my family tree. In fact it is all my side that I cut out and my husband's side is the one that is on Nuestros. Anyway, before I sent my GEDCOM in, I separated the files. I named the the new file (my husband's side) something different. Familytree has an option (I am not sure about which other programs do, but I have used three genealogy programs and they all had this option) to uncheck which people you do not want included in an export. I unchecked all people born after 1916 that I was unsure if they were still living. I then submitted only my husband's side of the tree of people who were not still living. I have done the same for my Irish GEDCOM, by separating it from my main tree. I always keep my main tree intact and work from that.
I believe this question has been asked, however, I have not yet seen a response. My tree also has an "Anglo" side, would that be proper to upload in this forum?

We can't see each others' gedcom files so it is my understanding it is of no
use to upload one. However I don't know how the TNG tab works - http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/tng What can be done is save the PAF to
RTF and upload that to your folder. Instructions can be found at http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/15482 Apart from that have you
uploaded the gedcom in .ged format to all of the free genealogy websites
such as www.geneanet.org (the one I recommend the most and quite a few
NuestrosRanchos members use) www.miparentela.com (this is owned by
myheritage but w/o a limitation on the number of people in the tree. (Many
NuestrosRanchos members also use this one) www.genoom.com (which most of my
relatives use) and rootsweb? Ancestry.com is free for two weeks which you
can cancel as soon as you upload your info and still add to it afterwards
for free. Most of the above websites allow for uploading and downloading
.ged files and creating ancestral and descendant reports in PDF format which
is my favorite.

I have to apologize for jumping the gun and posting incorrect info about gedcom files. I obviously misunderstood a few things.
