Hi!

I am also reseaching my Soto lineage.......but I have only documented
back as far as the 1864 marriage of my great-grandparents Anastacio
Soto and Ma. Dolores Gonzalez in Matamoros, Tamps., Mx. I have some
other leads but they are also in Tamaulipas and I have not had a
chance to research the film. My Soto line went from Matamoros, MX to
Brownsville, TX and then on to the Texas Gulf Coast and Victoria, TX
where my mom was born in 1919.

Prof. Israel Cavazos from Monterrey, Mx once told me the Soto line
came from San Luis, Potosi. I am sure those were the "early" lines
which I have not reached yet.

I will be happy to share any information with you when I find it.
