Can someone tell me the difference
Hello Everyone!
On the list of films to ask for from San Juan de los Lagos there are different choices for marriage.
I just wonder what is the difference between them. Does one have more info then another?

I know I have gone out there with this question before but our membership has grown quite a bit over the last year and so I will ask once again to see if I get any takers...
Are there any members out there who have programming experience, particularly PHP/MySQL that would like to participate in the technical maintenance of the site?
Hi Joseph
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on the Banuelos question. These Banuelos start in the late 1700's and it's only a small portion in the Colotlan area. I know your cousin Andy was working on this line a few years ago. These are my cousin, Dave's line....the same primo that is related to you through the Tafoya's and Maldonado's. Dave and I are related 10+ times in Nueva Galicia. It's amazing how just finding one ancestral line into the Romo de Vivars, Tiscarenos, Lomelins, Ruiz de Esparza's, Rubalcava's....etc and one becomes related many times over with someone else. It's mind-boggling at times.
This weekend I was reading a reprint of the Conquest of California and New Mexico, by
James Madison Cutts nephew of Dolly Madison.
He has a page on the Mixed races of Mexico that I thought was very interesing and decided to share.
Ive made a huge wall breaking in my reasearch, has anyone done research in Pinos, Zacatecas or Noria de los Angeles. My Eugenio del Camino born ca. 1826 was originally from "la parroquia de Con. de los Angeles, this is the same place from Noria de los Angeles. Pre 1800-there wasnt a parish so everyonewent to Pinos

Hi,
I apologize for posting my last message on "Jewish History" in Jalisco in

Last night my husband and I were on youtube and we did a search for Nochistlan. I discovered there were lots of videos about Nochis. One video was called "Recorriedo Nochistlan" and someone actually drove around Nochis with a video camera in their hand driving up and down streets that were very familiar to me. In another video there were people running around with white powder on their faces (harina and pinole) which of course some of you may know is a very old tradicion called el "Papaqui del Guerito San Sebastian." There are videos which depict other traditions like the "La Coleadera" in Las Animas which is an event I have attended many times, and the Sunday night serenatas in the jardin in Nochistlan.
Hi, all:
I had received an LDS microfilm No. 238073 of the Jesus Parish Records in
Guadalajara, Jalisco for 1876-1883. I had ordered it to look for the
baptism record for my great-grandmother Francisca Cabral, because in her

The past week has been one huge nightmare... I changed ISP last Friday Oct 12nd, and have not been able to access the Internet since that day... after hours/days on the phone with tech support, the bottom line is my 6 y/o computer has been put to rest, and I'm now typing on my new one...
Hello!
Hola!
My new research has permitted me to find out more names and info. If anyone recognizes a name or place I would appreciate it.
Mi buscara ma ha permitido encontrar mas informcion de nombres y lugares. Si algien reconoce algun nombre o sitio sere muy agradecida.
I have read several postings, but I'm new to requesting help. The Bustamante line, from Aguascalientes is the root I am researching. Cruz Bustamante B. 4-26-1882 is my Great Great Grandfather. I am having trouble finding much more than his wife and two children.

If anyone is interested in following Don Juan Lopes de Elisalde's line in the 1500's in Tolosa these are the films you'll be interested in. I hope to follow his line someday. I really want to look for Don Juan's parents. I only included the films that would extend his genelogy.
It looks like most Rubios connect back to these guys in la Nueva Galicia. I have several rubios about 5 times. My line ends at Don Diego Rubio de Monrroy of Guadalajara. I only have the marriage date of the IGI.
