I can trace my genealogy mainly to the ranchos in the general vicinity of what is today Totatiche, Villa Guerrero and Colotlan in Jalisco as well as Tlaltenango, Atolinga, Monte Escobedo and Jerez in Zacatecas. The ancestors whose migration I have been able to trace to the area migrated there mostly in the 1700s from Durango, Puebla, Queretaro and Oaxaca.
