The Timeline Form is used to document 1 person's life from birth to death. You would list the actual documents that you found your ancestor listed. This then gives you your ancestor's location (migration path) for his birth, marriage, census, as a Padrino, as a parent for his children, or his house was listed on someone's death certificate and then his own death location.
I print off a blank form and handwrite in my documents as I receive them, then when my form gets so messy, I then type my document information in chronological order on the form. I leave spaces between entries to allow for more entries to be hand written in as found.
I save my form as Genealogy/ Forms/ Timeline/ Sandoval, Jose Geronimo
This way they are in alphabetical order on my computer and the current hard copy is filed behind my Family Group Sheets in my binder.
