Jose de Leon Brito was a "vecino of Zacatecas and a retail merchant." After the death of his wife, Antonia Ursula Duran, and on the request of his mother in law Polonia, on 3 May 1679 he left money to his grandchildren because he was going to remarry. Ursula Duran was the daughter of Juan Juarez [deceased] and Polonia Duran.
Where can I look to find baptism, marriage and death records for this family?
I think that Jose de Leon Brito and Juan Brito are the same person married to Antonia Ursula Duran
Juan de Leon Brito and his wife Antonia Ursula Duran lived in the barrio of Analco in Santa Fe, New Mexico before the 1680 Pueblo Revolt.
His son Juan de Leon Brito and Maria de los Reyes Granillo had the following children: Maria Magdalena; Juana Gregoria;and Brigida [all born in Santa Fe].
The information about the money he left to his family comes from
Archivo Historico de Zacatecas, Fondo: Notarias, Notario: Felipe de Espinosa, Caja: 3, Libro: 9, Ano: 1679, no. 87 and no. 89.
Can I access these two documents online?
I found this information at the website for the New Mexico Office of the State Historian: http://www.newmexicohistory.org/filedetails.php?fileID=22200

Juan Brito and Antonia Ursula Duran
Stanley,
Your Duran ancestors ring a bell and while I don't have the records in hand, I have run across some of these names in my research of Nochistlan, Zacatecas. I don't know if they're the same Duranes, but I have seen Polonia Duran and Antonia Duran. I'm sure there are many in different municipalities of Zacatecas. I'll look in my records.
Alicia,
