Thank you, Victor. I will check Gary Felix's page. I have listed on
ybase.org and ysearch.org but have not found any matches. I did find
one close match, from Scotland. The other was Puentes on the
Rancho's Group. Close, but no cigar. I guess I'll just have to hang
around until a match shows up.

J2 DNA
Linda,
Other sites to know about that are specific to haplogroup J are:
http://www.m410.net/yjdb/
http://www.j2-ydnaproject.net/
And then there's the database at http://www.yhrd.org/index.html, which
doesn't allow to upload your own haplotype but you can do a search to
see what geographic region comes up with the closest near-matches.
The New Mexico project has several J2 among its participants,
including one Romero but I don't know if that's yours.
http://www.newmexicodna.bravehost.com/
And the Santa Fe project has other J2s:
http://www.familytreedna.com/(ey5p1qzl3wxdn0450gzdlq45)/public/NuevoMex…
If you don't find any matches to your haplotype now, eventually
someone will find yours!
Saludos,
Victor
J2 DNA
Thank you again, Victor. I have been to all your recommended
websites. Registered at the ones I could. Been there, done that,
still alone.
Now I must have patience.
Thank you for all your help.
