Initiative) is currently recruiting a Program Evaluator and Development
Coordinator. This is a full-time, salaried career position at the

| Position | The incumbent provides support in two areas to the |
| Summary | Health Initiative of the Americas (HIA), formerly the|
| | California-Mexico Health Initiative (CMHI), a program |
| | administered by the California Policy Research Center |
| | (CPRC). The Initiative is a major bilateral |
| | collaborative project involving academics, |
| | governmental officials, and community-based |
| | organizations in the U.S.and Mexico. With funding |
| | from state, university, and extramural sources, the |
| | Initiative's objective is to coordinate and optimize |
| | the availability of health services to migrants and |
| | their families beyond the border boundaries. |

| | Under the general oversight of the HIA Director, the |
| | incumbent develops and implements short- and |
| | long-term comprehensive fundraising strategies |
| | including identification of new funding sources and |
| | development of grant/fundraising proposals and |
| | budgets for HIA Programs, and coordinates a |
| | comprehensive external and internal evaluation |
| | process which aims to to measure change and assess |
| | the degree to which stated HIA objectives and expected|
