I just saw an episode of a TV show named Forever (Warner Channel Latinoamérica, lunes, 22 hrs), it had an interesting genealogy quote:
"The truth is, each of us is related. It's just a question of how far back you trace your family tree. Deep down, all of us have shared blood in our veins. Although, individual tastes may vary. Royal Blood
Having looked at my royal ancestors (Howards), and read a little bit about them, I am not particularly excited about being descended from most of them. But the unsung heroes among the poor and destitute - who had no remembrance of courts and castles - yet whose lives were lives of courage, faith, suffering, compassion, and generosity - THESE are the Kings and Queens, whom I am proud to claim as my Ancestors! It is one of the reasons I do genealogy - to discover those forgotten heroes ...
