I read all of your posts with great interest, but those featuring Toribio Hernández de Arellano especially catch my attention. I have a short list of ancestors who seem to appear over and over again in our family tree, and Toribio Hernández de Arellano and Isabel de Mendoza are two of those individuals.

Congratulations again Erik on your excellent work on Toribio Hernandez Arellano. You were also correct that Carlos Lomelin that we descend from is not the same Carlo Lomellini that is the son of Vincenzo Lomelini and Porzia. The Carlo Lomelin, son of Vincenzo Lomellini and Porzia was proven to not be the same Carlos Lomelin married to Maria Benavides.
I hope to have a book published next year on Carlos Lomelin’s ancestry. The first part of the book is on Carlos Lomellin ancestors and descendants, so I still have many descendants to add to the book. The second part of the book is about another person in the family tree that is a well known historical figure. The two parts are connected which is why they will be in the same book, yet many people who don’t descend from Carlos Lomelin may only be interested in the second part.
Your last book was so filled with information that I was surprised that you didn’t include the information of the most famous historical figure in the Nuñez family tree. Since this historical figure was the first European to see the Pacific Ocean, I thought you would write about him. But I assume that you didn’t write more about him because you already had a large amount of information in the book.

Don’t believe everything you see in familysearch family trees. Many people add or change information on the trees without providing any sources. When I add or change information on familysearch I try to also add sources explaining the change or the addition.

Thank you, Rick! I look forward to read your book so much. About the Nuñez family tree, one of the issues I had was the rising production costs of Amazon. I had to limit the extent of the book because it was getting pricier and the vast majority of what is earned goes to them.
However, I would feel deeply honored if you and others would continue what is written and expand it in your own works. I would be very happy if any of you found "De Nobleza Inmemorial" useful.
At the end, we are all part of the same long chain and these grains of sand are what make genealogy so exciting.
