Leticia, thank you for sharing your very emotional journey. I do know how you feel since I went to my grandfathers homestead in Jerez Zacatecas in 2003 and found what you did, family I didn't know but saw myself in.. what a wonderful feeling.

My mother was raised by a relative or friend of the family (her mother died from giving birth) and added to that her father never had an affective relation with she, so me and my cousins, nor one in the family, had any affective relation with them, not even close.
