Just a little Mexican musical history lesson for you...if you are interested in this music, you can refer to my two sites, www.elsondelpueblo.com or www.gruposolymar.net. John Robles
John,
Too bad I didn't know you were in this group sooner. I have heard it advertised on the radio here in San Jose and not knowing what type of musical instruments or type of music, I never gave it a thought. The next time you are going to be in the San Jose area, please do let us know so we can come to your performance and hopefully meet up with you.
Your paisana in San Jose,

Grupo sol y Mar
Hi Alicia
I will let you know. I am working on getting in an appearance in San Francisco, so I will let you know.
THanks

Wow! Hadn't had time until today to have a listen. This music really
moved me. I immediately left a review on the site and purchased the
Jarocho de Corazon CD.
You guys are fantastic. The music shook my soul. . .when is the group
coming to North Carolina? Lots of Mexican's here including me your new fan.

Thanks Joseph, I appreciate that a lot! I would love to travel a little more, that's for sure. Eventually I would like to perform and teach part time and work part time (for benefits!). Music is really one of the best ambassadors there is for helping people to appreciate each other's cultures, and that is what I love to do.
