We have a lot to be thankful for. The group has been growing
tremendously via Arturo's Website Wizardry. I think the membership was
just at 100 when he took the website to where it is now and i think we
currently have about 450 members (not all active but still at times
there can be a significant amount of discussion).

A couple of things:

1) You all know how I used to get so happy when people made a
connection. Well with so many people making connections I didn't want to
use too much bandwidth to convey my joy. I am still doing backward
internal somersaults. Our ancestors would be so happy to know that after
losing each other for hundreds of (100, 200, or even 300) years some of
the family branches have become reunited via our genealogy research. Our
families have a lot to be thankful for even if they don't exactly
understand the significance of reunifying via our genealogical labor of
love. Thank you for efforts you all have been a blessing to me.

1) Ustedes todos saben conseguía tan feliz cuando la gente hizo una
conexión. Bien con tan mucha gente que hace conexiones no quice utilizar
demasiada anchura de banda para transportar mi alegría. Todavía estoy
haciendo volteretas internas posteriores. Nuestros antepasados se
placerían tan saber que después de perderse para los centenares (100,
200, o aún 300) de años algunas de las ramas de la familia se han
juntado vía nuestra investigación de la genealogía. Nuestras familias
tienen mucho ser agradecidas para incluso si ellas no entienden
exactamente la significación de reunificar vía nuestro trabajo del amor
genealógico. Gracias por esfuerzos usted que toda ha sido una bendición
a mí.

2) I want to thank you all for making 2009 a peaceful year online. There
have been a couple of discussion threads that came close to getting out
of hand but you all still maintained a professional and courteous manner
of communication. Maybe it was a concern that I would rather shut down
the group than let it continue in open argumentative discussion (I've
always considered that private email is the best place for that) but I
would rather believe that you are all trying really hard to keep things
peaceful and without harsh communications. I'm expecting 2010 to add
more members and as we grow larger we'll all have to pay special
attention to our communications. I would like to ask ALL of you to help
me monitor the discussion. If anyone notices any of the discussion
threads take a direction that "MIGHT" get nasty I would like for you to
send me a simple email asking me to carefully monitor the discussion
that has this subject line (and then supply the subject line).

2) Quiero agradecerle todos por hacer 2009 un año pacífico en línea. Ha
habido unos discussiones que ya mero salierion de control pero ustedes
todos todavía mantuvieron una manera profesional y cortesana de la
comunicación. Quizas fue precocupacion que mejor cerraria el grupo
desde dejarlo continúa en la discusión controvertida abierta (pienso que
el email privado es el mejor lugar para eso) pero mas mejor creería algo
que ustedes estedes trabajan fuerte a mantener cosas pacíficas y sin
comunicaciones ásperas. Espero que 2010 agregue a más miembros y como
crecemos más grande todos tienen que prestar la especial atención a
nuestras comunicaciones. Quisiera pedirles para ayudarme a supervisar la
discusión. Si cualquier persona nota que la discusión se va a una
dirección que consiga repugnante yo quisiera que usted me envíe un email
simple que me pregunta que supervise cuidadosamente la discusión que
