How does one sign up if one doesn't speak Spanish? Just walk me
through the words so I can sign up. In case you're wondering how I
can research in the Spanish language when I can't read it, I search
using my family names. When I get a hit, I make a copy and translate
it later. Simple, time consuming, and not very accurate. But it is
all I can do.

Joseph,
Are these the same archives that are in Ancestry.com? I found one of
my ancestors on their Immigration Section for 1550 on that website (you must be
a subscriber). I tried the instructions for the AER and couldn't follow
them. Soy muy mensa (technically challenged).

not sure, i don't think so.
yes joining that list is so user unfriendly. . .you'll just have to
fiddle with the instructions until you get it. sorry but it is hard to
finally get subscribed.
in fact if I had to subscribe today I'd have to read the instructions
myself. . .I don't remember how I did it.
