Locations of Research Interest (Specific ranchos or pueblos in each state)

I don't have any specific ranchos I am interested in but I have traced my roots back to the descendants of the Aztecs in Aguascalientes. I'm curious how my modern maternal family migrated from there to Durango which obviously had to happen via Zacatecas. I have bunch of names provided by a 5th cousin but she didn't update any records. My aunt by marriage is from Tonala and I would love to be able to trace her heritage as well. To me she is blood.
