thanks Arturo: Huejucar!!!

Time will tell if we are cousins. I need to hunt for a family that had
two children: One an Antonia Lopez and another a Nicolas Lopez. I don't
know when Nicolas was born but his sister, Antonia was born
approximately in 1892. Also Antonia had a cousin named Crescencio Lopez
who was born in Huejucar sometime around 1915-1925. When the films
arrive I'll need to dig in and have a good look for my Grandmother and
possibly a connection to your Lopez family.

thanks Arturo for the file. thanks for sending me that file. thanks,

That being said I'm off to the races again inserarch of this line of elusive relatives on my maternal Grandmother's side. . .her name is Antonia Lopez.

I just ordered two films from Huejucar. . .are there any Lopez in the group from Huejucar by chance?

ps: previous to this discovery I had doubts as to the true name of my maternal Grandmother as she went by several aliases. But I've heard it from 3 separate independant sources and thats good enough for me. If I can find a Lopez family in Huejucar that had two children named Nicolas and Antoniia I think I'll be on

My family stories mention that Jalpa was ransacked and set afire during the Revolucion . . .this may explain the gaps in the various records . . . Robert Hernadez

Steven,

I will try to contact my family members from Jalpa. My family connection with Jalpa as far as I can tell begins in 1925 when my mother's uncle Agustin Olmos Avelar marries his first cousin Juana Olmos Valenzuela in Jalpa Zac. We have many family members from that line living here in San Jose and Newark Ca.

I do have Gomez family connections  from Nochistlan/Jalpa but I don't have the paper trail yet, all I have is the oral history, stories from aunts and uncles. My paternal Great Grandmother was Tiburcia Garcia, Gomez and her mother was Josefa Gomez, however I don't have birthdates for them yet
