Hi! Are there any resources that cover the population and history of Sayula, Jalisco, in the 1800s? Does anyone know who I would contact in Sayula that might know that kind of information? Thank you!

Need help finding Juan Antonio Thores de Escobar
Hola:
I need help finding out about Juan Antonio Thores de Escobar married to Getruidis Cordero in Bautista, Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico. I need to know his parents name around 1700. They are my 7th generation grandparents.
I also help finding Ysidro Placencia married to Gertrudis Rodgriguez around 1710.
They are my 8th generation grandparents. I need to know Ysidro Placencia's parents.
Mil gracias,
Prima Olga Torres

Sayula 1800s History and Population
Thank you for responding to my post Linda Castanon-Long. I have used the familysearch.org resources.
What I am really looking for, at this time, is a local history of Sayula, with more detailed information than I am finding online. I would love to find family histories if something like that was available. I am also wondering what the population was in the mid 1800s of Sayula. 1,000? 10,000? 50,000?
Thank you!
Babette
Sayula 1800s History and Population
this book says the population of Sayula was 47,360 in 1793 so it was probly
higher in the mid 1800s:
