I had a few moments...I decided to upload some photos under the album
group...members...but I am not sure that I uploaded everything the right way...
I posted a family picture (my Tlaltenango descendants) , and pictures from
the Monterrey delegation regarding the dedication of the African-legacy team
that attended in Monterrey and some artists renditions of our Afro-Indi-Meztizo
inheritance.
Enjoy...

Nice photos, thank you for sharing them. How did you get involved with this conference in Mexico?

Hi Linda,
I am a long term member of the now National Mexcian-American Museum. They
sent me an invitation as an educator to attend. I applied, and was accepted
to be part of the delegation. The trip satisfied my genealogical side of
me...I imagined walking on the same grounds as did my ancestors from my father's
side of the family. In fact, I did get to meet a distant aunt, recorded much
of what she had to say (including the fact that her grandmother was buried
alive). The weird thing is when she showed me a picture of her mother (my
grandfather's sister), she looked a whole lot like one of my sisters... como el
sangre corre fuerte!
By the way, one of my sisters is a Canadian...lives in Vancouver, B.C.
