While this is not included in the Nuestros Ranchos research, I am wondering if anyone out there might know how/where I can contact ALMA ROSA LONGORIA GUZMAN CRUZ, who,
along with her siblings has done extensive genealogy on NE Mexico, more precisely Mier,
Camargo, Guerrero, etc.

I have the book and would be happy to do loookups, but I don't know if she has any more available. Last I heard it was out of print, but she had a few left (some years ago).

I haven't spoken to her either in quite a while, so I'm not sure how to get hold of her.

Hola Connie ,how are you ? I too ordered Luz's book and they were out . I was wondering if you could see if a Vicente Hermosillo and (wife) Maria Inez de La Trinidad Martin de Padilla (also goes by)Martin del Campo Padilla Davila born may 05,1726 San Juan de los Lagos. Maria Inez de La Trinidad was daughter of Miguel Geronimo Martin del Campo and Josefa Padilla Davila . What I am trying to find out the ancestors of Vicente Hermosillo . I don't know when these guys got married but I 'm guessing around 1750. I don't know if they are even related.

Juanita,
Go to your nearest Public Library with the book information, author, etc.,
and request they attempt to find a copy of the book under the "Library
Loan" program. They should be able to locate a copy somewhere and make it
available to you. You should have a library card to check it
out........That's how I got use of a copy.

Juanita,
Go to your nearest Public Library with the book information, author, etc.,
and request they attempt to find a copy of the book under the "Library
Loan" program. They should be able to locate a copy somewhere and make it
available to you. You should have a library card to check it
out........That's how I got use of a copy.

GOT THE BOOK FROM JUST DOWN THE HIGHWAY FROM ME. UT-EDINBURG-MY ALMA MATER. I WAS AWARE THEY HAD A LOT ON NE MEXICO AND TEXAS, BUT HAD NOT SEENTHAT ON THEIR LIBRARY.
WHAT A GREAT BOOK IT IS. FROM ONE SHORT PARAGRAPH YOU CAN GET SEVERAL GENERATIONS. I SAW A LOT OF MY PEOPLE THERE. UNFORTUNATELY, THE INFORMATION I AM SEEKING WAS NOT THERE AND IT GOES BACK A GOOD WAYS. ON THE INTRODUCTION IT STATES THAT IT IS ONLY A FRACTION OF ALL THE ROLLS THEY HAVE TO PUT OUT. WHAT A JOB WELL DONE!

I WAS ABLE TO VERIFY A LOT OF INFORMATION ON THE PEOPLE I HAVE, SO I SPENT MANY NIGHTS BROWSING THRU IT. I RETURNED IT TODAY. AM LOOKING FOR OTHER CHURCH DOCUMENTS THAT I MIGHT GET THRU THE LIBRARY LOAN SYSTEM.
