El motivo es que a mis 51 años de edad, me encuentro lleno de tareas al estar terminando mi tercera carrera profesional.
Como ingeniero, maestro de danza folklórica y educador, tengo la satisfacción de haber llevado muy en alto el nombre y tradiciones de México por el mundo y de haber pugnado por la superación de la gente de los ranchos. Yo si me llené los zapatos de tierra, como responsable de la capacitación de los campesinos del Estado de Yucatán durante seis años, para el mejoramiento de su nivel de vida.
Como agente de cambio y mejoramiento de las técnicas agrícolas durante 16 años con los campesinos del centro y altos de Jalisco, lo que me mereció la beca Eni Chem filial de Shell dada en Lucca Italia en 1986.
Ahora, llevo ocho años como asesor, tutor y maestro de los hijos de migrantes de Veracruz, Chiapas y Oaxaca que llegan a la frontera.
Agradezco las finas atenciones de Usted y de las personas que me escribieron, a los que fueron objetivos y conscientes de los tiempos que vivimos.
A los que vieron moros con tranchete donde no los había, los felicito de todo corazón, enhorabuena por su posición defensiva, ojala que sus palabras se traduzcan en hechos concretos de ayuda y empuje de superación para los demás, sobre todo de los más desvalidos y necesitados.

AND having said that I don't feel it is my position to "Fix" or even jump in here and there and take up the shield of good v. bad on social issues and on the side of being politically correct or even feeling like I have to take a position simply because I happen to be one of the moderators. My views are just that, mine. Anyone demanding to know my views just because I'm the moderator should start discussion to remove me from that position. Get 51% of the members to want this and I'll gladly step down, no argument from me.
