Has anyone else been experiencing problems with the familysearch site? Last night I couldn't get the US, Canada, Mexico to open at all. Tonight I tried three times before it worked, and now it won't open the browse the church records. Thanks so much, Alice
site problems
Alice,
FamilySearch is expanding into a bigger computer? not sure of the right
words to use but I know that it is supposed to not be working for about 48
hours. It should start working sometime today? or tomorrow. Anyway, I
think it will be working even better when it opens up again.
Do I make sense? -Esther

Yes. The odd thing was I could open all the other choices: Europe, S America, etc. just not US, Canada, Mexico. Well, it sounds like something worth waiting for. Thanks again. Alice

Family Search is Growing!
Something I've noticed is that when large record collections are being added, site access can be affected. There have been almost 30 collections posted or upgraded since March 1st.
Server upgrades do also affect access. It appears that this is done in the evening rather than during the day. At times when there have been these service interruptions, access gets restored by late evening (mid-night, or so).
When you consider what is currently available, and what is coming, Family Search is an amazing service.
