Can anyone tell me where to find the informacion matrimonial 1778-1790 in Colotlan of the Espanoles. I checked out the LDS film #0443712 and it was all about the Indios.
My experience, for the few areas I've researched, is that the matrimonial investigations are all together (at least in Aguascalientes). There tends to be more for indians than for the Spanish, but the relative numbers would depend on the community, most likely because there were more indians. They are very often not in chronological order. You may need to look at the volume or two before or after the period you are interested in. I've also seen significant gaps, but this is more common for the older documents.
From the FHL catalog there is no indication that the investigations were separated for the different groups. Of course, this does not mean that they weren't.

I ordered and viewed Film # 443782 and it covers ALL the marriages from 1752-1790 nicely!
