I am trying to research my grandfather Gabino Gutierrez. He was born in Valle
de Guadalupe, Jalisco, Mexico about 1889. He migrated to the United States
about 1907, living in Ohio. He married and had three children, my mother being
one. My grandparents divorced about 1924 and he returned to Mexico, marrying a
Casillasand having two sons(Juan and Benjamin). She died and he married her
younger sister Cecilla Casillas and had one son(Manual). My grandfather died
somewhere between 1968 and 1972. I traveled to Mexico with my family in 1964
to meet my grandfather and Cecilla. I have been trying to find if he has any
relatives still living and his history. I have found some in Family Search, but
cannot tie all ends. I see where he crossed the border in 1940 to visit a
sister in Los Angles. I found her in the 1930 censuswith their parents living
with her. I also found where his mother died in Los Angles and I know it is her
as it was stated her mother's maiden namewas Cruz and all the dates matched.
But have not been able to see his sister's birth or any records. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. I am including link

If we could pinpoint when he died the death certificate may give his birth date. Also what may help is getting the marriage and divorce certificates. My uncle that I am sure would have been able to help died 2 years ago. What were his parents full names. What was his sister's name. There were diferrent gutierrez in valle de gpe, gutierrez de hermosillo and gutierrez coronado.

I found on Family search what I believe was when he was born. If I have it right, his father was Monico Gutierrez and mother was Toribia Albarez with a birthdate of February 19, 1889. I know this date is about right as I have his age on my mom's birth certificate and I found a border crossing in 1940 that I know was him that gave 1889 as birthdate and it gave Cecilla Casillas of Valle de Guadualupe as his contact. As for his death I know it was around the time I gave birth to one of my daughters, but can't remember which one. One was born 1968 and the other 1972. I lean toward the 1972.

Hello,
I am researching Gonzalez, Saucedo (or Sauceda/Sausedo), and de
Santos. I have records of my great-grandparents crossing to the U.S.
in 1948 and1952. My great-grandfather, Hilario Saucedo de Santos, was
born in January of 1910 and the record says he came from Encarnacion
de Diaz, Jalisco. It says "Pa: Celerino Saucedo" and "Ma: Amada de
Santos." I believe they meant "padre" and "madre," but they are listed
as "partner" and "maid." Hilario's wife, Maria Gonzalez-France (France
is on the record, but could have been misspelled or abbreviated) was
born in June of 1917 and the record says she also came from this town.
In 1952 their oldest child was 15, so they might have married around
1935 or 1936.
Amada and Celerino married in November of 1889, according to church
records. Amada was baptized in Encarnacion de Diaz in Sep. 1874. This
means she would have been 36 when Hilario was born. Her parents' names
vary according to a couple of sources so I am still working on them.
Celerino was born between 1867-1870, most likely in San Matias in
Pinos, Zacatecas. His parents are Jose Refugio Saucedo and Victoriana
Salas, and his great grandfather could be Demencio Saucedo.
I have not been able to find wedding or baptism records for Hilario
Saucedo de Santos and Maria Gonzalez, so this is what I am focusing
on, since I would like to verify the names of parents, grandparents or
in-laws.
Any questions or input welcome, thanks.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Monica Medina Zavala Ochoa, and I am/have been, researching the Medina/Lopes(z) (maternal grandfather), and Tirado/Barrientos/Ramires (maternal grandmother) families from the parishes of San Jose de Anaclo and Villa Encarnacion de Diaz Jalisco and El Sagrario Aguascalientes, since I was a girl with my mom who passed 10 years ago. I have found many records at the Family search site, and have become obsessed with piecing together as much as I can. So far I have gone back 4 generations on my maternal grandmothers side.
I am fluent in both English and Spanish so any specific links or databases that you may suggest would be welcome, and if there are any questions for me as far as records or information I am more than willing to share/upload what I have so far.
Thanks!
Monica Ochoa (mazo)
