Is anyone familiar with the barrio de Triana in Aquascalientes? My Salas-
Ruedas family may have been from there?
Also, is anyone researching Etzatlan? My Estrada family was from there. I am
hoping to find a census record from that town.

barrio deTriana - Aguacalientes and Etzatlan
Hi Gloria,
I am familiar with the old Barrio de Triana in Aguascalientes. I was there
earlier this year. It is now known as Barrio del Encino, and is within
walking distance (a long walk) from the center of town. Unfortunately, my
research has been only in early church records of Aguascalientes(1600s and
1700s) and so far have not come across any persons with Salas-Ruedas
surname. Just in case you are curious to see what it looks like, I have
attached is a picture of the old church at the center of the Barrio de
Triana.
No information on Etzatlan.

Bill,
As an FYI, this site does not allow you to send photos via e-mail, you can post them directly onto the Nuestros Ranchos website but not through an e-mail attachment, your photo was bounced but the body of the message was allowed to come through.

Etzatlan
Hola Members ,I was wondering if any body can make out the name of the mother of Maria del Rosario Gomez married to Jose Casimiro Munoz in 07 may ,1754 in Etzatlan,Jalisco. Located in the Matrimonios of Etzatlan 1590-1781 image 339. I can make out her father Joseph Gomez but not the mothers name.
Thank you for your time
