Help requested with handwritting on Guanajuato record
My maternal side is all from Guanajuato. I concur with the earlier replies. Looks like Augustin Gonzalez. I did a search for barrios, districts or localidades and the following site lists this area. http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/guanajuato/san-miguel-de-allende/
Jaime Gonzalez

Anita,
It looks like an abbreviation for Agustin Gonzalez. Which, according to
Google Maps, is an actual place in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Anita - Your guess is as good as mine, I'm not very familiar with
Guanajuato.
Try taking a look Google maps to see which places may have records for this
place other than San Miguel Allende.

This link may help.
Heads up: I think inquiries outside of Aguascalientes, Zacatecas and Jalisco may belong in "general" mail.
