Is anyone having problems with the search feature of Family Search? Some changes appear to have been made between yesterday and today, and searches that produced many records yesterday provide nothing today.
I wonder if we are in the midst of an uncompleted upgrade?

New Familysearch address for Mexican records
The Familysearch address for the Mexican records changed one or two days ago, this might have altered other nested addresses.
This is the new link for the main page:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=MEXICO
Now, when yo go to the main Familysearch website you don't have to go anymore to "Canada, USA and Mexico", you may go directly to Mexico or the United Stetes.

problems with FamilySearch
Yes, there is problem with FamilySearch. I have had problems in doing searches. And I just saw a message that was sent to the Admins of the Facebook pages for FamilySearch. Which said the following:
"Heads up-- there is a problem with FamilySearch today- a search is not possible in the collections after a big change was made in the collections- be patient is the answer- they will be up again soon the engineers are aware"

Problems with Family Search
my problem is I can't get more than 10 pages and then the link breaks and it tell me to try again later.. I have to admit this has been a problem since I started using the feature but it still beats going to a history center, ordering film and waiting for it..

Reply from Family Search
There are some issues that the Family Search staff is trying to solve. I received the following reply this morning:
Dear George Fulton,
Thank you for contacting FamilySearch regarding technical issues with our site regarding Mexico Births and Marriages.
We are aware of the problem and are taking steps to correct it. You could help in this process by using the Reply tool on your email (to keep your Case number, which is 2438606) with the name and location for which you were searching.
Please try again on Monday.
We are pleased to be of service and wish you success in future searches.
Sincerely,
Familysearch,
support@familysearch.org
It seems this may take a couple of days to resolve.

Problems with Family Search
By problems, do you mean that everything you search for comes out zilch? That is what I am getting this evening.

Zilch!
Yes.
I think I know why: a data source that the search engine looks at apparently is offline.
There is a work-around: go back to the old Family Search, and do the advanced search. You can search the IGI and the Vital Records Index there. The old search engine isn't as powerful, so it is a bit harder to search (we've gotten a bit spoiled with the current one).
I would imagine that things will be back to normal in a day or so; hopefully not longer.

Zilch!
George,
I've been on Family Search for the last couple of hours and it seems to be working fine for me. I did notice a change but it's ok here.

Searches
I'm searching Asientos, Aguascalientes, and records I've found in the last couple of days do not come up in my searches tonight.
I've tried a couple of different browsers, and get the same results.
I've notified Family Search through the website "Help" screen of the difficulties. I also talked with someone on the help line, but that wasn't too helpful. The volunteer was seeing exactly what I was, so it is not my computer that is causing the problems.
