I have not been successful in locating any information about the Patrons outside of what I have found in their records. They have been around the Nueva Galacia area since the 1640's and it appears they were in Guanajuato and possibly Mexico City. They were not mentioned in Diccionario Biografico de Antiguos Pobladores de San Luis Potosi by Rafael Morales Bocardo or any other record I know how to locate. Although, I did see on Wikitree Danny Alonso having some connection with the Padons. I have included those connections for him.
Where would I look for their possible Testaments?
It seems Sebastian Padron has a brother named Bartholome Padron (abt 1633) married to Maria del Castillo with some of their children born Guanajuato, Santa Maria del Rio and Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosi both of those mentioned possibly.
1. Sebastian Padron (abt. 1635) m. Francisca Gonzales (they could’ve married in Guanajuato – san diego de la Union, San Felipe, or Acambaro, or in Santa Maria del Rio, San Luis Potosi, or Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosi, or even Pinos, Zacatecas. They have, it seems, history in all of those locations but mostly in Santa Maria del Rio. They Married into the Del Castillo, Gonsales, and Torres (Thorres del Rancho de Joseph Thorres)
2. Marcos Padron (abt. 1665) 1st m: Agustina Gutierres 4 December 1687
2nd m: Michaela Martines Espindola 28 Jun 1706
3. Lucas Antonio Padron m: Phelipa Joepha de Torres 10 February 1709
4. Ma. Anta. Gertrudis Padron Baptized 2 Feb 1733 1st m: Roque Francisco Hernandes 5 Jan 1749
2nd m: Joseph Antonio Gonzales 15 Jan 1766

5.Maria Anastacia (Atanacia) Gonzales m: Antonio Alexandro Colunga (1759–)

Antonio Alexandro Colunga is brother to Miguel Colunga who is married to Bacilia Gonsales Sister to Maria Anastacia Gonsales
Patrons of Santa Maria del
How have you connected Sebastian Padron (husband of Francisca Gonzalez) as being the brother of Bartolome Padron (husband of Maria del Castillo)?
Bartholome Padron y Sebastian Padron
While on Ancestry family trees have Bartholome and Sebastian as Father and Son. I disagree because the timeline is not right. Others have the Parents of Bartholome with parents born in 1575 while this may be possible it just does not seems right to me.
Here are my beliefs based only on what I have found so it is circumstantial.
*Bartholome Padron b: abt 1632 m:abt 1651 + Maria del Castillo b. abt 1635 (Mestizos sometimes Espanol)had 13 children found, birth range is from 1652 – 1675 (there are 3 Marias de Patron with 2 w/different birthdates and the 3rd Maria is married and could not be the any of the other Marias.
The first Child listed is Ysabel b. 1652 born in Santa Maria Del Rio, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
The following children are listed because they were born other than Santa Maria Del Rio, SLP, Mx.
Ygnacio b.1658 baptismal was in Villa de Reyes with a wealth of information of who his parents worked for and lived at this time.

(there is another Sebastian Padron (father is Juan Gonzales y Francisca Maria) b. abt 1665 m. 22 DEC 1686 San Felipe,Guanajuato,Mexico + Maria de la Cruz (M8MH-PW1 www.familysearch.org) b. abt 1632. Children of unknown Sebastian has children from 1691, 1694 and 1708 San Felipe, Gto.)

In comparison both Bartholome and Sebastian knew each other well as Bartholome and wife were padrinos to Juan, both baptized children in San Felipe, and had children living in Santa Maria del Rio. Their children were born close in age. They used similar names for their children and were given the label Espanoles sometimes and Mestizos. Other times the Cura did not put a label but many of the Cura’s had names that married into this family Yanez, Torres, Gonzales.
Marcelina, gracias por la informacion, ya compre el libro pero tambien voy a buscar en Morelia, Michoacan y tambien la informacion que Manny nos doy de los padrones y partidas.

Nicolas Torres Patron the same Nicolas Yanes Patron
While searching a different family member in Guadalajara Obispado, I came across this marriage record of Nicolas de Torres Padron con Miramontes (m. 11 May 1750 in Tlaltenango de Sanches Roman, Zacatecas).

Somewhere along these several pages he states that they left Santa Maria del Rio and were taken in by his grandfather, Nicolas Sr’s. father who lived in these parts.
I have found one Nicolas Torres fitting the timeline with the mother name Agueda Patron only she is married to Nicolas Yanes (m. 15 November 1705 in Santa Maria del Rio) and while it is true that many times children may have different surnames other than the parents surnames, he states his father is Nicolas Torres, so far I have not found Torres only Ortega in grandparents, but his mother Agueda Patron is a Torres (Parents are Francisco Padron del Castillo y Josepha de Torres). There is another Nicolas Antonio Yanes born 1713 to this couple but he cannot be (per his statements) the Joseph Yanes that was born to this couple Yanes/Patron in 1713 because than his statements not being 12 yet to give his promise of marriage to someone else would not be true.

My question is “are they the same person? “
Nicolas Torres the pretenso states his paternal grandparents are from Taltenango (it is spelled like the priest wrote it). On the marriage of Nicolas Yanes y Agueda Patron Priest states they are from Partido de lo de Guerrero). I don’t know where they are to each other can anyone help?
