Arturo,
I just noticed that Linda's messages regarding her new DNA test results
aren't listed in the Ranchos website.
Previously I also noted that one of my posts apparently was truncated on the
way from my email client to the Ranchos website.
Just wanted to bring this to your attention so you can check if there's
something wrong and if there are any other instances where this is
happening.
Saludos,
Victor

Victor et al:
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. After a bit of sleuthing, I have found Linda's message. It is the last of a very long list of messages in a thread called "Introductions"
http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/14531?from=20&comments_per_page=10
What happens is that messages that are recognized as replies to previous postings are compiled as comments to the first posting of the given topic. What happened in this case is that the topic has changed several times but the messages keep getting appended to the same topic nevertheless.
In order to avoid this, members should not reply to a message unless the new message is actually a reply to the message being replied to. If you are posting a new topic, please create a new message without using your reply button. Any messages composed as replies carry a marker of the original message being replied to and the site uses this to organize messages by topic.

Thanks for the reply and explanation, Arturo.
Any idea what could've happened with my message that got truncated?
It wasn't anything of great importance but I was just curious from a
technical perspective.
The following link shows the part of the message that made it to the forum:

After that I posted a reply again and that went thru just right.
Thanks again.
Below is a copy of the message that got truncated as it was originally sent:

(For any who are not familiar with the rules, Spanish words are always
accented on the last syllable, with only 3 exceptions -- unless it
ends with S, N, or a Vowel. If it ends with one of those it is
accented on the next-to-last syllable. If it is pronounced any other
way, an accent mark is used to specify how it is to be pronounced.
There's another rule about what to do with words that end in two
vowels, but I'm a little fuzzy about that one.)
