If anyone is interested in following Don Juan Lopes de Elisalde's line in the 1500's in Tolosa these are the films you'll be interested in. I hope to follow his line someday. I really want to look for Don Juan's parents. I only included the films that would extend his genelogy.

The Lopez de Elisalde Family
For anyone doing Basque research (Guipuzcoa, Viscaya, and Alava) you can find a lot of their parish records online at http://www.irargi.org . Once you get to the home page click on Registros Sacramentales...which is located on the right side of the screen. The dioceses are named after the capitol of each province (San Sebastian, Bilbao, and Vitoria). They hope to have all parish registers extracted in the near future. This is a wonderful way of getting around the microfilm restrictions for this part of Spain. I haven't looked to see if Tolosa has had it's records extracted yet, but if they aren't now they will be soon.
