Hello-
I am researching the family of Beltran de La Cueva, or Beltran or De La
Cueva in the 17th century in Aguascalientes.
I am looking for info on:
Nicolasa Beltran de la Cueva AKA Nicolasa Theresa de la Cueva born abt.
1684. in Aguascalientes.
Her parents are:
Pedro de La Cueva and Elena Beltran.
Also I have read the book on the San Gabriel Valley and it was wonderfully
helpful to get me this far back.
Thanks!
Beltran de la Cueva
Stephanie,
Pedro de la Cueva and Elena Beltran had two children: Juan and Nicolasa
Theresa Beltran de la Cueva. Nicolasa was baptized 2 Nov 1684 at "Parroquia
de la Asunción de las Aguas Calientes". She married Miguel de Alba y
Estrada Bocanegra on August 30, 1707 at the same church where she was
baptized. They had four daughters: Theresa, baptized 11 Nov 1708,
Gertrudis, born 03 Aug 1710 and baptized 25 Aug 1710, Elena born 21 Jun 1712
and baptized 16 Jul 1712 and Catharina, baptized 19 Sep 1715, all baptized
at the Parroquia de la Asunción. Elena de Alba Bocanegra was confirmed
14 Nov 1728. She married Florentino de Jesus Xaime on 12 Feb 1736 in
Aguascalientes. Elena died before 1752, but I don't know the exact date.
I do have some information about Elena's descendants, in case you're
interested.
Juan Beltran de la Cueva married Theresa Macias Valadez on 03 Sep 1709 at
Parroquia de la Asunción. They had at least two children: Maria de la Cueva
and Juan Joseph de la Cueva.
I'm not related to any of these people but have compiled lots of
genealogical
and historical info. for this area. My database consists of more than 8,500
early settlers of Aguascalientes, Zacatecas and Altos de Jalisco. Are you a
descendant of Nicolasa Beltran de la Cueva? Which other lines do you have
in Aguascalientes?
Hope this info. is useful to you.
