Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum but but have been researching my family history for a while. I am currently a bit lost and hoping for some feedback. I'm looking for the Romo family from Rincon de Romos, Ags. in the late 1880s or early 1900s.
My grandfather was born somewhere in Aguascalientes (most likely Rincon de Romos) in the early 1900s. His name was Isidro Romo. He moved to Juchipila Zacatecas, where my father was born in 1939. I don't have his parents name, which makes the search more difficult.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get this information? Thanks
Minerva
More recent records or IGI batch numbers for Rincon de Romos, Ag
Minerva, have you tried locating birth or christening information for your
father? And if he was married or had children in Zacatecas (or anywhere in
Mexico), you might find his parents' and even grandparents' names on the
IGI.

This is not the info you were looking for or the connection but I had to respond becasue you are so close.
My grandfather Isidor Romo born 1904 in Encarcion De Diaz/Caquiste. I was able to find his father Manuel Romo by looking up Isidor's siblings marriage certificates and of course the Mormon websites were quite helpful as they pinned down the town he was from.
