Que tal,
?
I saw your posting on your website.? The Hermosillo family name is truncated from the Casillas family name.? We've been using birth certificates and previous work done by Alberto Casillas in his book titled the "Casillas" to trace back the Casillas family .
?
Including DNA sampling which resulted in R1b1.
?
By adding the Casillas back in the name you can get all the previous ancestors.?
?
These are my fathers:
?
Moises Casillas Diaz
Quintin Casillas Gomez
Panfilo Casillas Ulloa
Nazario Casillas Gutierrez
Francisco de la Trinidad Casillas Villapando
Jose Maria Casillas Gonzalez de Hermosillo
Jose de San Ramon Casillas Casillas
Jacinto Ventura Casillas Lozano
Francisco Casillas y Cabrera III
Francisco Casillas y Cabrera II
Francisco Casillas y Cabrera I
Martin Casillas (Spain, he built the cathedral in Guadalajara)

Hi
Copy and past my url to see the descendants and ancestors of
Jose Maria Casillsa, Gonzales, de Hermosillo...
(aka Jose Gozales de Hermosillo)
http://www.ysearch.org/gedcom_show.asp?uid=FWRJ5&viewuid=FWRJ5
My source is Jose Alberto Casillas, Rick Rodriguez, who both are using actual birth certificates.
It was common and tradition in times to for women to use their grandmothers name instead of their husbands. Such as the case with de Hermosillo mixing with Gonzalez, becoming Gonzales de Hermosillo.
Jose Maria's real last name is Casillas. Very much like Panco Villa using a name de guerra....

My GEDCOM is now available under Aaron Casillas.

Some last names vascillate as it was the custom for women to sometimes use their grandmothers last names.? Truncation of last names?also occured;such as the name of "Casillas" as is the "de la torre" family from los Altos de Jalisco...they would originally be "Casillas de la Torre", or synthisis like Gonzalez, de Hermosillo becomes Gonzalez de Hermosillo. Or Cabrera becomes "y Cabrera" or "de Cabrera."

Luisa lozano was chistening in el sagrario aguascalientes, but tepatitlan jalisco was part of aguascalientes for few years, that means that she was chritening in what is now tepatitlan.
Luisa Lozano fue bautizada en el sagrario aguascalienres, pero tepatitlan jalisco fue parte ecleciasticamente de aguascalientes por corto tiempo, eso quiere decir que ella fue bautizada en lo que ahora es tepatitlan.

Luisa Lozano
Rubén,
Luisa Lozano González (aka Luisa de Rodas) was baptized at the parish church in Aguascalientes on 27 Dec 1645. Her godparents were Juan de Araisa y Medina and Luisa the Araisa (his daughter) both local residents of Aguascalientes. She was not baptized in Tepatitlán. Incidentally, according to reliable Catholic church authorities in Aguascalientes, the "Parroquia de la Asunción" has never been known as "Parroquia del Sagrario". Apparently, the misunderstanding originated in the 1960s when the books were microfilmed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I plan to post some information on this confusing subject sometime next year. Luisa Lozano was named Luisa after her maternal grandmother Luisa de Rodas, and in some documents she appears under her grandmother's name.
Francisco Casillas Cabrera married Luisa Lozano in Aguascalientes on 1 May 1669. It was customary in those days to hold the wedding at the bride's hometown. Luisa's parents were Jacinto Lozano and Juana González de Rubalcava. Her paternal grandparents Cristóbal Lozano and María de Isla, and her maternal grandparents Fulgencio González de Rubalcava and Luisa de Rodas.
Francisco's parents were Francisco Casillas Cabrera and María González de Hermosillo, who married in Jalostotitlán ca. 1635 according to some records. His paternal grandparents were Francisco Casillas Cabrera and Francisca Gutiérrez de Escobar, and his maternal grandparents Juan González de Hermosillo and Anna Gutiérrez Rubio (aka Anna González Florida), the latter married in Jalostotitlán ca. 1614.

I was thinking aloud when I wrote "Juan de Araisa y Medina and Luisa the Araisa" instead of "Juan de Araisa y Medina and Luisa de Araisa" in my previous email. Sorry. If anyone is interested, I can post a Spanish version of my message.
