2) Lazaro Faustino Cervantes Duran, born on 12/20/1749 son of

Basilio Cervantes Negrete & Manuela Duran Ruiz de Esparza

3) Nicolas Joseph Cervantes Duran, born on 09/09/1758 son of

Ignacio Cervantes Negrete & Maria Anna Duran Ruiz de Esparza

Lazaro Faustino Cervantes Duran marries Josepha de Castanedo y Zeballos on 02/02/1771 in Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico.

I have some information about the Duran Ruiz de Esparza family from
Nochistlan, beginning with Nicolas Duran Aguayo and Francisca Ruiz de
Esparza, who married in Aguascalientes 05 March 1669. Nicolas Duran
Aguayo was from Nochistlan, and Francisca Ruiz de Esparza from
Aguascalientes. They had at least seven children: Nicolas, Maria, Juana,
Phelipe, Rosa, Juan and Isabel Duran Ruiz de Esparza, all born between 1670
and 1684 in Nochistlán. I know they belong to a different generation, but I
think it would be interesting to tie Manuela Duran Ruiz de Esparza into the
Ruiz de Esparza line from Aguascalientes. Do you know who Manuela's parents
were?

I am not a descendant of Basilio Cervantes Negrete and Manuela Duran Ruiz de
Esparza, but have done some research on the Ruiz de Esparza line. Have you
checked the book "Nochistlán, Zacatecas. Su Parroquia. Los Duran y otras
Familias Antiguas: Estudio Histórico-Genealógico" by Ing. Jesús Durán?
It has some information about the Cervantes Negrete, and a family tree that
includes several generations of descendants of Lazaro Cervantes Negrete and
Antonia Perez de Lomelin, parents of Basilio and Ignacio Cervantes Negrete.
