Angelina, it sounds very interesting. You may want to contact them in advance and tell them that you are coming. This way they can have it paged for you. Some of this appears to be microfilm too. Often you have to request them to make the copies. They will not allow you to do this yourself because it has to be handled very carefully. Please let us know what you find. Hello,
Has anyone seen this book? I was wondering if it was worth taking a drive up to Berkley - it appears to be the only library that has it. Sounds interesting but I've been burned so many times with books that I wanted to see if I could get some input first.

Card catalogue description: Collection of genealogical documents (originals and certified copies) concerning interrelated families of Nueva Galicia-notably the Flores, de la Torre, Alvarado,Contreras, Angulo, Figueroa, Padilla, Ba?uelos, and O?ate families. Composed principally of files on genealogical inquiries conducted by the Audiencia of Guadalajara or lesser local tribunals at the request of petitioners Jos? and Nicol?s Flores de la Torre, Archdean Diego Flores de Latorre, Presbyter Luis G?mez de Alvarado, and others, who claimed kinship with such noted conquistadors as Pedro de Alvarado, Hern?n Flores, Diego P?rez de la Torre (successor of Nu?o de Guzm?n), andFrancisco de Figueroa.
