First picture is a hut in Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico.
Second picture is a hut with similar design in Galicia, Spain
Note that the state of Jalisco in Mexico's old name is "Nueva Galicia" New Galicia.
But could that type of dwelling in Huejuquilla get its origins from the Europe settlers from Spain that came to Huejuquilla back during the time of the Spanish?
Dwelling Structure Of Huejuquilla, Jalisco same as Galicia, Spai
Isn't it interesting that this type of dwelling is universal! The thatch roof atop rock, wood, or wattle and daub walls can be found throughout the ancient old world and indigineous new world. Small world, great minds. Alice
