Hello all,
I don't know if any of you have tried the frustrating task of going through the Guadalajara dispensation records? But this is what I have found out so far....the are a mess....go figure. The titles for the years listed are not necessarily correct.
I have found several dispensations on my family lines and some other well known lines. I am currently looking for other family lines and just happen to come across these.
I must say the film that says 1687-1749 is pretty darn good, but in it appears to be 1709-1746 instead. I have not finished going through this film, but took these notes for easy reference.
image 599 is Xptobal de Mata of Cerro de los Gallos and Maria Josepha de Chabes
image 574 Teocaltiche-Diego Ornelas and Juana Josepha Carrillo
image 563 Nochistlan- Xptobal Delgadillo and Gertrudis Gonzales
image 542 Aguascalientes-Antonio Ruis de Esparza and Maria Munos
image 508 Teocaltiche-Andres de Chaves Fragoso and Gertrudis de Cuevas
image 470 Zacatecas- Joseph Moscoso (sorry forgot to write down his wife), the son of Juan Moscoso Sandobal and Fabiana Ximenes de Padilla
image 415 Teocaltiche-Joseph Lopes and Catharina Cerbantes (this record has Nicolas Macias Valadez, Leonora Retamosa and Maria de Alba)
image 407 Villa de los Lagos-Juan Maldonado and Josepha Albares (Albares Tostado)
film 1745-1746 has 1747 in it, I have not finished this either
image 1036 Aguascalientes-Miguel Masias and Vitoriana Gonzales
image 972 Juan Ysidro de Villalobos and Maria Phelipa de Chaves
image 906 Nicolas Flores de la Torre and Maria Teresa Marin de Penalosa

Guadalajara Marriage Dispensations
I just posted a comment before reading this. I was asking for help in finding a document of marriage dispensation. I am looking for informacion matrimonial probably requested in late 1880 and permission granded in January 1881. I reviewed a couple of periods that included those years and found records as late as 1954 mixed in with the 1800s.

Thanks Rose
Rose, thank you for posting these. I am sure that somewhere down the line, if not already, you have helped someone find some very important info about their ancestors.
I also plan to post more of these as I am making copious notes while I sift through hundreds of images that have not been indexed.
I really appreciate your effort!
