It seems like I have hit a roadblock in my research and would really appreciate help or a pointing to the right direction. I feel like I've exhausted every possibility on Familysearch. My first Lomeli is my direct paternal line.I cant seem to find anybody beyond Jose Rafael Lomeli (married to Maria Olaya Manriquez, late 1700's i would presume) father and mother to Jose Maria Lomeli born 1805(married to Maria Vidala Jauregui 1808).
My second Lomeli line comes from Maria Vidala Jauregui's mother Maria Paula Lomeli. Her father is Juan Angel Lomeli (1762)and his father was Gaspar de Lomeli(married to Marsela Casimira Marin). These lines are from Mexticacan Jalisco...possibly Nochistlan. It seems like many of my other family lines im tracing seem to blur or totally disappear in the mid or late 1700's.Im not an expert so any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you, Alejandro Lomeli El Paso, Tx

Thank you so much Mr.Aguayo! Yesterday I found out about an older ancestor and also found out I am going to be a father! So it was a good feeling having found out of 2 new family members on apposite sides of the spectrum that I have yet to meet.Julio de Lomelin was on a short list of mine of potential fathers for Jose Rafael.I would really appreciate if you can tell me how i am able to search the copies of the actual document since they seem to have a lot more information than the simple searches ive done on familysearch.Ive found Julio Lomeli and Marcelas Xauregui's marriage on familysearch but unfortunately does not include any other information other than date and that they were married in Nochistlan.Again thank you Mr. Aguayo for the help.

Congratulations to you Alejandro, for finding a new ancestor and for finding out you're going to be a father. Now all you need to know is how to troll the actual records on Family search, page by page and record by record. While it's very time consuming, it's also very rewarding. It's the best way to find your extended ancestors, not only your direct line ancestors but a way to connect with the extended familia, cousins and the cousins' cousins, etc.
Happy hunting!

Congratulations on new baby.. how exciting.
On researching now that we have the actual records online I've started putting the online page number of each month in my files so if I find something on Family search or shared I can find that month and it makes researching so much easier and less time comsuming that way. There is always that odd ball record in the wrong month or year so it's no fullproof. My records for each year would appear as
1775....
January......page 10
February...page 15 and so on..
just a suggestion for records you may have to go back too

Do like Linda said but first make sure you are in the right volume. The
search shows the marriage is in Source Film Number: 226727 That pertains to
a specific volume. To find out which volume go to
https://www.familysearch.org/#form=catalog&catSearchType=film_number click
on the link you get from that result and do a CTRL-F and search for 226727.
It will show you the name of the volume which is Matrimonios 1762-1779. The
Zacatecas and Aguascalientes church records were one of the first put
online and are in a different location from some of the others which is at
http://goo.gl/Yu0av From there go to the Zacatecas records then the
Nochistlán records and look for the Matrimonios 1762-1779. Since the
marriage you are looking for is 09 Jan 1763 it will be towards the
beggining of the volume so you can jump to say Image 50 and hit enter.
That's 29 de Nov de 1763 so it's too far. Now jump back 10 images to 40.
That is 4 de Mayo 1763. So go back another 10 to image 30. This is where
you will find the record you are looking for.

Help with my 2 Lomeli
The marriage record shows Julio Lomeli to be the son of Fernando de Lomelí
and Isabel Enriquez. I found a baptism for Julio Joseph born to Fernando de
Lomelín and Isabel de Calderón. She could have been a daughter or
granddaughter of Pedro Enriquez del Castillo and Isabel Delgadillo married
3 July 1667 in Nochistlán. I have no proof of this but the use of both of
those surnames is a good indicator. Someone else here might have more info
on them.

I forgot to say I think Isabel Delgadillo was a granddaughter of Isabel de
Calderón which is where my statement of the two surnames comes from.
Calderón being one and Enriquez being the other.
