Maybe no one is looking for this, but who knows?
The intersting thing is that the people who are the subject of the dispensa are described as "nobles de notarias obligaciones" and it is also stated that they have serious problems finding a suitable partner because they are each related to the other noble families of the region. This may be of interest to those who descend from Ana Gabay (could it be referring to Petronila de Moctezuma?) or maybe its a reference to the Hurtado de Mendoza line?
I am still trying to find out if Don Raphael Romo - father of Don Miguel Romo of Aguascalientes but married in Nadadores - is the same as Don Raphael Femat of Zacatecas/Ojocalientes. Currently searching the Informaciones Matrimoniales for Zacatecas 1792-93 (have searched 93-94 and 94-95) for a proposed marriage with Joachina de Salas. She was Raphael Femats second wife, and his first wifes name should be mentioned there. If it is Rafaela Aguilar (Miguel Romo's mother, and he is listed as hijo lexitimo in his marriage record), that would solve the mystery for me, and I would also know how this Raphael links up to the Romos of Aguascalientes. If its not, back to square one!
