I believe Estefana did have different parents. (I'm going over old notes a distant cousin wrote for me.) this cousin had Estefana listed as having Tadeo Dias & Genoveva as the parents. But I do remember hearing him say that Tadeo had a twin. I believe Estefana was the daughter of that twin.

The other interesting fact (possibility), is that the family of Tadeo Dias connects on two branches of my paternal line. (My paternal grandmother and grandfather).

(This also happened on my maternal line as well.) I know it was not uncommon to marry ones cousin back in those days.
