I have two Maria Alvares Tostado ancestor's in my family tree. One is Nava and she was married to Joseph Perez Gallo, but I'm looking for the parents of the other Maria married to Juan Delgadillo. Attached is her 1737 Teocaltiche death record and she is also named in her daughter's Petrona Delgadillo's marriage record which states Petrona was born in Nochistlan. I found children records of a Maria NAVA married to a Juan Delgadillo that fit this time line in Nochistlan, but I don't know for sure if this second Maria is also Nava.

If anyone could help me find the parents of Maria Alvares Tostado who died in 1737; I would appreciate it. I'm searching page by page, but so far I haven't found her birth or marriage records. She may be Lorenzo's sister, but I just don't know at this point.

Thank you both for this information. I now have Petrona Delgadillo's birth records from Nov. 1706 in Nochistlan pg. 356 lower left image. Alvares & Tostado are listed as the padrinos. This is the same age given on her marriage record to Christobal Ximenes de Albarado in Dec. 1725/Jan 1726.

This record mentions a couple with the same names you are looking for. My wife is researching the Aro family name and they marry Delgadillos. This is a marriage for Diego de Aro and Maria Delgadillo in Nochistlan dated 10 Dec. 1707. Image # 163 bottom of page on the left side. Here is the link. hope this helps
