Hello,
I am looking for the dispensa between Francisco Flores and Nepomucena Cuevas who married in Zapotlanejo, Jalisco on 04/June/1875. Here is their marriage certificate: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-G531-S4?i=365&cc=18745…
I have looked through all the films with dispensas matrimoniales of the Diocese of Guadalajara for the year 1875 and I have not been able to find it.
I have also looked in the “informacion matrimonial” for Zapotlanejo for the year 1875 and I could not find any details about their marriage there either.
Does anyone by chance have a suggestion/idea about where else I could look for this dispensa?
Thanks-Minerva

Francisco Flores and Nepomucena Cuevas - Family Tree
Hi Ruben and Rick, many thanks for the input. I also believe that their relationship is through their Flores line, and this is the line I am probably more interested in since it is also my last name, and this is the line where I have advanced the least in my family tree (I have information all the way to Francisco’s grandparents, but I was hoping the dispensa would help me advance two generation above that) . I actually descend from Francisco’s brother (Jose Jesus Flores).
Francisco Flores and Nepomucena Cuevas were related in the 4th degree as follows:
4th Francisco Flores(b.about 1845) -----(Pretensos)-------------Nepomucena Cuevas (b. about 1834)
3th Plutarco Flores (b. bef. 1814)--(primos segundos)----Jesus Cuevas Flores (b. bef. 1800)
2nd Jose Guadalupe Flores (b. bef. 1784)----(primos hermanos)---Ma. de San Joseph Flores (b.bef. 1785)
1st “unknown” Flores (b. bef. 1769)------(brothers)------“unknown” Flores (b. bef.1770)
Father "unknown” Flores (born before 1755)
I will research more about Maria de San Jose Joseph Flores and see if I can uncover more info looking through her descendants.
And Rick, I will also check on Juan Joseph Flores and Bernanda Flores and see how they fit in all of this. So far I have only found a Bernanda Flores who was a daughter of a Juan Joseph Flores, but she would have been 9 years old when Maria Dorotea Flores Cuevas was born, so she would have been too young to be Dorotea’s godmother. So I will keep looking.
I really appreciate all your help. Thanks again.

Nepomucena had a sister named Librada
Hello Minerva.
Carlos Cuevas and María Flores were the paternal grandparets of Nepomucena and Librada Cuevas according to the christening record of Librada.
So the relationship between Francisco and Nepomucena must be through their Flores lineage.
The full given name of María Flores is María de San José (Maria de Sn. Jph.) according to other record available at FamilySearch.
I hope those records help in your search.
Flores Cuevas relationship
Carlos Cuevas and María de San Jph. are also the parents of Ma. Dorotea Cuevas. Below is the link to her baptismal record. The padrinos are Juan Joseph Flores and Bernarda Flores. If the padrinos are the maternal grandparents, the Flores relationship of Francisco Flores and Nepomucena Cuevas may be from either Juan Jph. Flores or Bernarda Flores.

Dispensa Research Question –
it's quite possible it never got microfilmed or got lost. i've come accross couples that i knew for certain were related to each other but yet was never able to find one for them. while all these couples in question were married before 1800, i wouldn't be surprised if there's post 1800 ones that aren't available online
RE: Dispensa Research Question
Hi Katy- Thanks for the input, I am afraid that what you said is probably the case and they might not have been microfilmed or maybe have been lost.
