I need some help here because I am confused about whose side were the Milicias Dragones of Colotlan, Jalisco, Mexico were on in 1785?

Were they on the spanish crown side or fighting for independence from Spain?

Because I was looking at an archive called Milicias de Colotlan 1785 in the pars website.
