Hello,
I'm looking for any information about PEDRO DE CHIRRIAGA (ECHERREAGA?) married to LUISA DE ORTIZ (sometimes she used Gonzales, Anda). The couple had at least one daughter Maria Luisa de Chirriaga who got married in Aguascalientes,in 1662 with Pedro del Muro Salas. I would assumed the couple had more children.
The couple was in the census of Aguascalientes in 1648, Pedro died in 1671, Luisa died in 1687
I know that there was an Echerreaga family in Zacatecas, Zac (presbitero Nicolas Echerrega), but I don't know if they were part of the same family.
Any information I would appreciated
Saludos

CHIRRIAGA "ECHERREAGA"
Hi Sus,
This couple are my ancestors. Maria Luisa de Chirriaga is also known as Maria Ysabel. I have identified 6 children so far for Maria Luisa and Pedro: Christoval, Francisco, Luysa, Pedro, Gabriel, and Antonia. Christoval, Pedro (my ancestor), and Antonia all married, although the only one I have identified with children are Christoval and Pedro. I haven't done extensive research on them, but I found what I could.
Is there some specific aspect that I can try and help you with? I have not found any additional children for Pedro de Chirriaga and Luisa de Ortiz aside from Maria Luisa.

Pedro de Chirriaga y Luisa Ortiz
Hola Rosalinda,
The only thing that I have for this couple is the following:
Pedro de Chirriaga (the husband) was a resident of Aguascalientes in 1648. He died in 1671 in the same city.
Luisa de Ortiz (wife of Pedro) (Other last names used Gonzalez or Anda). Resident of Aguascalientes in 1648. Died in the same city in 1687. The only import clue is that Pedro and Luisa in 1648 were living with some guy Diego de Ortiz, maybe related to Luisa de Ortiz.
So far I found only 1 daughter Maria Luisa de Chirriaga Ortiz who married 2 jul 1662 Pedro del Muro in aguascalientes. I have the same 6 children that you have. (Note Antonia was in reality the daughter of Roque de Luebana and not Pedro)
I'm guessing the couple had more than 1 child, but I don't have any idea. I saw that there was a Echerreaga family in zacatecas, but I don't know if "my" pedro is somehow related. Also no idea about the wife.
Do you have any ideas where to look?
Thank you so much
saludos
