A month ago I found and requested the IGI record for the marriage of Juan de Padilla Sorro to Petrona de Siordia (misspelled Giordia in the IGI record), hoping to find additional information on this couple. The marriage took place in El Sagrario, Aguascalientes on 14 February 1616 (Batch M604761 Source Call 0299421). After an anxious wait today I received the reply that this record could not be found. I do not have access to that film at the local center to search it myself. Has anyone been able to locate this record? I would certainly appreciate a copy of the image or a transcript of the entire text.
Thanks
Jaime
Petrona de Siordia and Juan de Padilla
Jaime,
I don't have an image but here is the transcription:
[firma] Lorezo Rodriguez."
I could not read the complete surname, but it should be Juan de Padilla y
Delgadillo.
Saludos,
Bill Figueroa

Petrona de Siordia and Juan de Padilla
Jaime,
The entry reads like this (except for the religious sacramental info common to most marriage entries). I have checked both my copy and that in Jose Luis Vazquez's book (p. 191).
By the way, I have already extracted this entire film, so if you need another look-up, perhaps I can help.Likewise, if you need an actual copy, let me know. Hope this is what you needed.
