Miguel Caldera (see Powell's book: Mexico's Miguel Caldera) is very
famous, but not a Cadena. His father was Pedro Caldera. There is a town
outside of Jerez called Garcia de la Cadena. I have an Ana Garcia de la
Cadena and her father Andreas in my direct line. It is probably a
stretch to drop the Garcia.

I am also researching the Cadena name. Miguel Cadena was my great grandfather who was baptized in Sombrerete in 1865, His father was Candido Cadena and Candido's father was Pascual Cadena.

Marge, Susan,
do either of you have information about Miguel, Candido, or Pascual, or any of these Cadena's?
